DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on November 7, gasoline prices were adjusted to increase by more than 300 VND/liter, while oil prices (except fuel oil) also increased by 461 - 769 VND/liter.
During the operating period on November 7, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continued not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 and RON 95 III gasoline increased by VND336 per liter and VND351 per liter, respectively, compared to the current base price, to new prices of VND19,744 per liter and VND20,854 per liter.
From 3:00 p.m. on November 7, gasoline prices were adjusted to increase by more than 300 VND/liter.
While fuel oil was adjusted down by 67 VND/kg to 16,394 VND/kg, diesel and kerosene prices increased by 769 VND/liter and 461 VND/liter to 18,917 VND/liter and 19,294 VND/liter, respectively.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 22 times and decreased 22 times. Oil prices have increased 20 times and decreased 24 times. According to the Ministry of Finance , by the end of the second quarter, the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund had more than 6,000 billion VND, a decrease of about 600 billion compared to the end of 2023.
The decision to adjust gasoline prices was made in the context that the world gasoline market from October 31 to November 6, 2024 was affected by factors such as: conflicts in the Middle East, OPEC+ postponing plans to increase oil production, military conflicts between Russia and Ukraine continue... Therefore, world gasoline prices in recent days have increased and decreased depending on each product.
