DNVN - From 3 PM on November 7th, gasoline prices were adjusted upwards by more than 300 VND/liter, and diesel prices (excluding fuel oil) also increased by 461 - 769 VND/liter.
In the price adjustment on November 7th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance continued to refrain from allocating or using the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 and RON 95 III gasoline prices increased by 336 VND/liter and 351 VND/liter respectively compared to the current base price, reaching new prices of 19,744 VND/liter and 20,854 VND/liter.
From 3 PM on November 7th, gasoline prices were adjusted upwards by more than 300 VND/liter.
While fuel oil prices were adjusted down by 67 VND/kg to 16,394 VND/kg, diesel and kerosene prices increased by 769 VND/liter and 461 VND/liter respectively, reaching 18,917 VND/liter and 19,294 VND/liter.
Thus, from the beginning of the year until now, gasoline prices have increased 22 times and decreased 22 times. Diesel prices have increased 20 times and decreased 24 times. According to the Ministry of Finance , as of the end of the second quarter, the Gasoline and Diesel Price Stabilization Fund had over 6,000 billion VND, a decrease of about 600 billion VND compared to the end of 2023.
The decision to adjust fuel prices was made in the context of the global fuel market from October 31st to November 6th, 2024, being affected by factors such as: conflicts in the Middle East, OPEC+ postponing its oil production increase plan, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine… Therefore, world fuel prices have fluctuated in recent days, rising and falling depending on the specific product.
