Retail prices for both common types of gasoline on the market increased from the afternoon of January 18th.
At the fuel price adjustment session on the afternoon of January 18th, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance stated that the global fuel market during the period from January 11th to 18th was affected by factors such as: escalating tensions in the Middle East, slower-than-expected economic recovery in China, warm weather reducing fuel supply for heating in the Northeast and Midwest of the US, increased oil supply from Russia despite tensions in the Red Sea region, and the appreciation of the US dollar…
The factors mentioned above have caused world gasoline and oil prices to fluctuate slightly up and down in recent days, but overall they have been increasing.
Given the above developments and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have decided to allocate funds to the Price Stabilization Fund for fuel oil as before, at 300 VND/kg, but not for gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, and not to use the Fund for any gasoline or oil products.
The prices of commonly consumed gasoline and diesel products on the market are as follows:
E5RON92 gasoline: Not exceeding 21,418 VND/liter (an increase of 377 VND/liter compared to the current retail price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by 1,064 VND/liter.
RON95-III gasoline: Not exceeding 22,482 VND/liter (an increase of 547 VND/liter compared to the current retail price).
Diesel fuel 0.05S: Not exceeding 20,194 VND/liter (an increase of 487 VND/liter compared to the current retail price).
Kerosene: Not exceeding 20,536 VND/liter (an increase of 205 VND/liter compared to the current retail price).
Fuel oil 3.5S: Not exceeding 15,508 VND/kg (a decrease of 307 VND/kg compared to the current retail price).
