Inheriting the results
An Nong commune was formed on the basis of merging 4 communes: An Nong, Khuyen Nong, Nong Truong and Tien Nong. The commune has a natural area of 22.79 km2, a population of 28,469 people. The commune Party Committee has 1,184 party members, operating in 2 grassroots party committees, 45 party cells (including 28 rural party cells). Promoting advantages and proactively overcoming difficulties, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government and people of the old communes have united, raised their determination, led the organization to effectively implement the congress resolutions, key programs and achieved many important results. Many targets exceeded the congress resolutions, notably: The average annual growth rate of agricultural and fishery production value is estimated at 4.33%, exceeding the target (4%); The total production value of the whole industry in 2025 is estimated at 241 billion VND, exceeding the target (235 billion VND). Per capita income increases rapidly each year, in 2025 it is estimated at 73.98 million VND, exceeding the target (73 million VND). State budget revenue in the area in the period of 2021-2025 is estimated at 117.9 billion VND, the average annual revenue growth rate is 7.8%, exceeding the target.
The economy is developing in the right direction, increasing the proportion of industry - trade, services and gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture. The growth rate of agriculture and fishery in the period of 2021-2025 is estimated at 4.33%. Applications of science and technology in agriculture and fishery are widely deployed. The average annual growth rate of industrial production value in the period of 2021-2025 is estimated at 10.2%; the production value in 2025 (at current prices) is estimated at 864 billion VND, 1.73 times higher than in 2020.

The National Target Program on New Rural Development achieved remarkable results: Khuyen Nong Commune achieved New Rural Development standards; An Nong, Nong Truong and Tien Nong communes achieved Advanced New Rural Development standards. There were 4 OCOP products that achieved 3-star standards.
The business investment environment has been significantly improved. In the 2021-2025 period, 27 new enterprises were established with a total registered capital of 181.4 billion VND. This brings the total number of enterprises operating in the commune to 47 and 5 cooperatives are operating effectively. The enterprises have created regular jobs for more than 1,000 workers, with an average income of 6 - 8 million VND/person/month. The total mobilized development investment capital in the 2021-2025 period is estimated at 1,847 billion VND, exceeding the target (1,500 billion VND). The invested capital sources have been effective, contributing to the completion of a synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure.
The transport system has been strongly invested in and developed. Many important transport projects have been and are being implemented; rural roads have been hardened, ensuring the criteria of advanced new-style rural communes and following the urban development orientation; the movement of donating land to expand roads has been supported by cadres, party members and people and achieved outstanding results, creating a breakthrough in rural transport development. Up to now, 1,968 households have donated land to expand roads with a length of 47km; total area of 43,358m2, dismantling 244 works.
Innovation and improvement of the quality of organizational and personnel work is one of the solutions to effectively implement the set goals.
Administrative reform and digital transformation have achieved many important results; environmental sanitation has been ensured; culture and society have developed; education quality has been improved. Policies and regimes have been fully and promptly implemented, social security has been ensured. National defense and security have been consolidated and enhanced, social order and safety have always been ensured, maintaining stability, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development.
The work of building the Party and the political system has many innovations, operating effectively and efficiently. The work of inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline has been strengthened and strict; the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been deployed synchronously and drastically; administrative reform, building e-government and digital government have been deployed synchronously, initially bringing practical results.

The achievements are of great significance, and are the basis for the Party Committee, government and people of An Nong commune to continue to inherit and promote in the new period. With the motto of action "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development", for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of An Nong commune sets the direction of economic development as the center, Party building as the key, culture as the spiritual foundation, national defense - security as an important and regular task. Continue to concretize the policies and resolutions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees in accordance with local realities after the merger of administrative units. The Party Committee of the commune also set 26 specific goals, which are: The average annual growth rate of total product value in the area reaches 12%; the average income per capita by 2030 reaches 102 million VND; the area of agricultural land accumulated and concentrated for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology in the 5-year period of 2026-2030 reaches 165 hectares; the average annual budget revenue growth rate reaches 7%...
To achieve the set goals, the Party Committee of An Nong commune sets out 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs. The commune will strengthen the building and rectification of the Party and the political system, innovate the leadership and direction methods of Party committees at all levels. Innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of organizational and personnel work. Build 100% of the leadership and management staff to meet the title standards, ensuring inheritance and transfer between generations.
Promote land accumulation and concentration, develop large-scale agriculture, apply high technology to increase the scale of agricultural production towards commodities, reduce land fragmentation, contribute to improving productivity, quality, production efficiency and income for people. Strongly improve the investment and business environment; call for and attract enterprises to invest in production and business in the area. Continue to invest in infrastructure and traffic infrastructure of the commune towards creating a synchronous traffic network connecting foreign and domestic affairs. Build and develop human resources; continue to strongly innovate to improve the quality of training and fostering of cadres, civil servants and public employees.
