Actively serve, do not let people wait
Present at the Tan Hoi Commune Public Administration Service Center, we clearly saw the spirit of "Receiving people warmly - solving problems wholeheartedly - satisfaction is the measure of quality" that the unit is aiming for. Officials and civil servants do not wait for people to ask but proactively approach and guide specific procedures. Administrative records are carefully reviewed, minimizing the need for supplements and multiple trips.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Hoi Commune, Nguyen Minh Ngoc, said: "For urgent documents, civil servants are willing to work overtime to resolve them on the same day. The Center also assigns staff to guide people to submit documents online. For the elderly, pregnant women, people with disabilities or those who are not familiar with technology, civil servants will directly enter data, scan documents and submit documents for them."
Ms. Dinh Thi Dau (77 years old), residing in Kenh 4B hamlet, shared: "The staff worked very attentively, I am very satisfied". Also coming to do the procedures like Ms. Dau, Ms. Cao Thi Em, residing in Dap Da hamlet, expressed: "The staff spoke gently and politely".

Administrative service and creation
Thoi Son Ward is a border area with Cambodia, with an area of 49.36 km2, and a population of over 33,000. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thoi Son Ward, Ly Thuy Van, said: "The ward has upgraded the headquarters of the Public Administration Service Center to be airy and spacious. The selected team of leaders, managers and civil servants have qualifications and capacity, and are associated with promoting ethics, responsibility, and service attitude... which have initially been well received by the people and businesses."
However, Ms. Ly Thuy Van also acknowledged that in the initial stage, some cadres, civil servants and public employees assigned to take on new tasks were still confused in coordination and task implementation, and did not fully understand the new professional procedures.
Recently, during his visit and work in An Giang, on July 21, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and provincial leaders visited and worked with Thoi Son ward on implementing the organization of a two-level local government model.
The Prime Minister emphasized: “Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front must operate in the spirit of development creation, dedicated to serving the people; resolutely shift from a passive administrative management system that “waits for people to come to handle work, and then goes home when it’s time” to a service and creative administration that is close to the people, creating the most open and convenient conditions, reducing time, costs, travel, hassles, and negative effects for people and businesses. Absolutely avoid the situation where officials are arrogant and people have to rely on them.”
The Prime Minister requested that all levels of government and public administrative centers stabilize operations soon and promote the "Digital Education for All" movement to support people when many are not familiar with the new model and are not proficient in online procedures. Quickly invest in infrastructure and information technology equipment to ensure work requirements, promote digital transformation while protecting personal data, ensuring network safety and security...
