Building the Party Committee of U Minh Thuong Commune People's Committee to be clean, strong and comprehensive

The Party Committee of the People's Committee of U Minh Thuong Commune (An Giang Province) was established on the basis of merging Minh Thuan Commune and An Minh Bac Commune. On July 30, the Party Committee of the People's Committee of U Minh Thuong Commune held its first congress for the 2025-2030 term.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Era - Innovation - Development", for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Executive Committee of the People's Committee of U Minh Thuong commune determines the goal and task of continuing to build a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; promoting solidarity, democracy, and consensus among the people, continuing to arouse creativity, will and aspirations for development, striving to build a commune that meets the standards of an advanced new rural commune by 2030.

The congress unanimously passed a resolution with 19 targets, including the average income per capita in the area by 2030 reaching 92 million VND/year; developing 2 new cooperatives; the rate of households using online public services of people and businesses reaching 80% or more; the rate of multidimensional poverty households reduced to below 2.5%.

Comrade Duong Quoc Khoi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh Thuong commune was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of the commune, term 2025 - 2030.
