The meeting was chaired by comrades: Nguyen Ho Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Lu Quang Ngoi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Also attending was Comrade Lam Van Bi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai requested the Department of Justice to focus on advising on the implementation of Resolution 66 of the Politburo (13th term).

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledges and commends the efforts of the Justice sector in the work of drafting and organizing the implementation of laws; inspecting, reviewing, and systematizing legal documents; disseminating and educating on the law; managing judicial administration and providing judicial support.

In recent times, the Justice sector of Ca Mau province has achieved many positive results in various areas of work, especially in monitoring the implementation of laws; state management of judicial administration and judicial support. In particular, the Department of Justice has effectively played its role as the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee in implementing Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW of the Politburo of the 13th Party Congress on reforming the work of lawmaking and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested the Department of Justice to strengthen inspections, comprehensively assess the capacity of officials and civil servants; the situation of law enforcement; and the arrangement of job positions in communes and wards.
