In particular, the project focuses on analyzing the conditions and current status of tourism , orienting development content and focusing on implementing 14 groups of solutions including: Group of solutions on mechanisms, policies and management; group of solutions to protect the tourism environment, develop forests, conserve nature and biodiversity; group of methods to implement ecotourism activities; resort and entertainment in marine protected areas.
Group of solutions to raise awareness and develop tourism human resources; group of solutions to develop tourism infrastructure and technical facilities; group of solutions to develop tourism types and products; group of solutions to invest in tourism.
Group of solutions for tourism development linkage; group of solutions for tourism promotion and market development; group of solutions for community development and preservation and promotion of indigenous cultural values; group of solutions for interpretation andeducation .
Group of solutions on security and safety in organizing tourism activities; group of digital transformation solutions towards smart tourism.
Cu Lao Cham is an island cluster about 15km from Cua Dai beach, Hoi An, consisting of 7 islands with unique landscapes and outstanding biodiversity. In 2005, Cu Lao Cham became the second Marine Protected Area of Vietnam with an area of 23,500km 2 . In 2009, Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An was recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Biosphere Reserve.
The project aims to implement Resolution No. 36-NQ/TW on “Vietnam’s sustainable marine economic development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045”; Decision No. 72/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on “Quang Nam Province Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050”; Decision No. 2596/QD-UBND on “Quang Nam Province Tourism Development Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030”, aiming to make Quang Nam the tourism center of the Central region and considering tourism and marine services as the number one priority in developing Vietnam’s marine economy…
