Firstly , cultivating proper attitudes in friendship and love among students, fostering habits and culturally and ethically appropriate behavior in their lifestyles, expressed through pure and sincere friendships and righteous and noble love, serves as a foundation and source of spiritual strength to help students thrive in life, fostering a sense of belonging to the group, always being conscious of the collective good, caring for and helping each other, thereby forming a new, progressive lifestyle in each individual.
In addition, it is important to cultivate and maintain good habits in students' daily lives, such as reading, appreciating art, and playing sports , in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Secondly , we aim to cultivate a community-oriented lifestyle, a sense of responsibility, a clear conscience, and compassion and tolerance among students. This includes building a lifestyle with ideals, dreams, and great ambitions for future success and career development; possessing resilience and self-confidence; having faith in the nation's revolutionary cause; being responsible to oneself, family, those around them, and society; and demonstrating compassion and tolerance through love and respect for others, and a willingness to help others.
Thirdly , we must build a civilized lifestyle, cultivate cultured behavior, strictly abide by the law, respect national discipline and order, be conscious of protecting the ecological environment, and dare to stand up for what is right and good. We must strive in our studies and research to understand and know how to behave culturally in all social relationships, such as living for others, respecting teachers, loving family, living amicably, and recognizing our great responsibility to society.
Fourth , we must build a new lifestyle for students, first and foremost by fostering love for family, village, homeland, and country, and a will to strive to lift the nation out of poverty and backwardness. From this love will come the determination to preserve the traditional moral values of the nation; the determination to achieve the goal of building an equal, prosperous, and happy life. This requires students to have a serious attitude towards learning and working, to be closely linked with creativity, based on scientific knowledge and the laws of nature and society, and to apply them to all aspects of life.
Awareness of the issue of building a new lifestyle for first-year students at Long An University of Economics and Industry.
In this paper, we surveyed 225 questionnaires, collected 200 responses, and drew the following conclusions:
From Table 1, we see that the "Very necessary" option accounted for 62%, followed by "Necessary" at 30%; "Undecided" at 2%; and "Not necessary" at 6%. This shows that the need to build a new lifestyle for students in the current period is an essential requirement.
From the above data, we can see that students have become aware of the issue of building a new lifestyle. Students believe that they need to have the aspiration to enrich themselves, society, and the country because it is linked to self-reliance, self-improvement, and the desire to develop a prosperous and happy nation, standing shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading powers. In addition, they also need a noble ideal to motivate themselves to cultivate and strive for self-improvement.
Solutions aimed at building a new lifestyle for students.
From the students' perspective
Young people and students are a generation that is young, healthy, enthusiastic, capable of critical thinking, and sensitive to new things. Therefore, students need to be more aware of the importance of self-study and self-cultivation of ethics and lifestyle in order to develop comprehensively in terms of intellect, morality, physical health, aesthetics, and work ethic, and to equip themselves with a new lifestyle to adapt to the changes in society during the current technological revolution.
The ego and knowledge are inversely proportional. The more knowledge one has, the smaller the ego becomes. The less knowledge one has, the larger the ego. Therefore, besides absorbing and understanding civilization and progress as a foundation for self-improvement, career development, and contributing to the building of socialism, it is also necessary to cultivate revolutionary ideals, patriotism, and national pride. The individual dreams and aspirations of each student must be directed towards the common goals of the nation and humanity, always desiring to contribute to the building of the country, the community, and society.
Students must cultivate and train themselves to possess both virtue and talent. This is because many individuals today exhibit moral and lifestyle degradation, most noticeably being drawn into personal desires and engaging in illegal activities. Talented individuals lacking virtue, who do not prioritize national and public interests over personal gain, pose a serious and potentially devastating threat. Furthermore, improving physical health is crucial; students must learn to love and care for themselves.
The beauty of a person's character is reflected in their words, gestures, actions, and how they interact with others in social relationships. Therefore, each student should not only study, acquire knowledge, and train physically, but also constantly learn from the world around them to equip themselves with the necessary skills, which will help in shaping their character and giving them the resilience to overcome the pitfalls of society.
On the family's side
Building a well-rounded Vietnamese person with "morality, intellect, physical fitness, and aesthetics" that suits the psychological characteristics of each age group through learning, cultural, scientific, and artistic activities; enhancing and cultivating knowledge to contribute to the holistic development of individuals; fostering compassion and tolerance; combating and repelling evil and negative behaviors in society to help the younger generation develop awareness and responsibility towards the community and society, to love their fellow human beings; to live with ideals, to be self-reliant, to be masters of their own destiny, and to know how to protect the community, the environment, and nature.

From the perspective of the school and society
Building a healthy cultural environment: This plays an extremely important role in human life, making culture a positive factor in promoting the development of human character; daring to fight against conservative and backward elements in schools, contributing to improving the quality of education and training, primarily through building school culture. Educating students to have a pure international spirit.
Promoting the role of setting an example in building a new lifestyle: Every staff member and lecturer must be a shining example of morality in their lifestyle, behavior, and work ethic. Timely encouragement and dissemination of examples of good people and good deeds; continuing to promote the "Five Good Students" movement, rewarding and encouraging students with good academic achievements, good conduct, or significant contributions to volunteer activities;...
Close collaboration between family, school, and society is crucial in building a new lifestyle for students, because the family is where good traditional values are preserved, where love for one's homeland and country, and love for humanity are passed down from generation to generation, helping to shape initial character. Therefore, within the family, grandparents and parents must be truly exemplary, serving as shining examples for their children and grandchildren to follow.
To effectively promote the role of the Youth Union in building a new lifestyle: The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union needs to play a pioneering role in achieving the goal of nurturing Vietnamese youth to develop comprehensively in personality, character, health, and creative thinking abilities through competitions on the history of the Party, etc., to help students become good citizens and high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the country's modernization and international integration.
"For a Green Future," Nam A Bank – DLA contributes to building a green, clean, and beautiful lifestyle.
People are the most important factor determining the success of globalization, the country's reform and integration, and above all, it is the Vietnamese youth – the future owners of the country. Therefore, it is necessary to raise awareness among young people about preserving and inheriting traditional cultural values: patriotism, a spirit of learning, traditions of solidarity, compassion, tolerance, diligence, thrift, friendly behavior, harmony with nature, etc., in order to develop comprehensively, serve the country and the people, and become educated farmers and skilled workers. Education needs to establish its "rights" to protect teachers and help them avoid pitfalls.
