At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training announced the decision to establish the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Phu Yen province, and reported on preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Phu Yen has 10,913 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 240 candidates compared to 2024. Of which, the number of candidates taking the exam according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program is 10,635 candidates and 278 independent candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program. The whole province has arranged 28 exam sites with 474 official exam rooms (an increase of 16 exam rooms compared to 2024) and 106 backup exam rooms located at secondary and high schools in districts, towns and cities.

The exam will take place from June 26-27. Candidates will take the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program, which includes 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects: Literature, Mathematics and 2 elective subjects; candidates will take the exam according to the 2006 Program with 4 exams, including: 3 compulsory subjects: Literature, Mathematics, English and 1 Natural Science exam including: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Social Science including: History, Geography, Civic Education.

At the conference, leaders of the units commented on the content of the two drafts of the Steering Committee for the exam on the assignment of tasks to members of the Steering Committee for the exam in 2025 and the plan to organize the high school graduation exam in 2025; discussed, proposed, and recommended issues that need to be directed so that the organization of the exam in the province is safe and in accordance with regulations...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dao My requested members of the Steering Committee, departments, branches and localities to promote a sense of responsibility, perform all assigned tasks to the best of their ability, and not make any mistakes. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested educational institutions to systematize knowledge for students to participate in the exam with the best results. In particular, units should pay attention to solutions to ensure facilities, security and order, disease prevention and control, food hygiene and safety at exam sites, and strengthen inspection and examination work throughout the exam organization process.

Units and localities have support policies, not allowing any candidate to drop out of the exam due to economic conditions or lack of transportation. The printing and transportation of exam papers must ensure safety. Relevant units and localities develop a plan to organize the exam to ensure strictness, safety, seriousness, objectivity, and compliance with regulations and rules on exam organization.
