Many projects of hotel complexes, resorts, and tourism trade service centers have been put into operation to meet the needs of tourists from key international markets, while increasing the spending and length of stay of tourists.

Promote the development of new types of tourism

According to Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang, tourism product development will be focused on diversity, uniqueness, high quality, and suitability to market demand.

Hanoi tourism industry will promote the implementation of new types of tourism such as: Adventure sports tourism, experiential tourism, virtual reality tourism... Promote the development of MICE tourism in locations with advantages in resort tourism, golf tourism associated with the organization and hosting of cultural, sports, political, social events, major national and international festival programs. Innovate in building, developing, and connecting unique and characteristic tourism products of Hanoi.

Encourage the formation of large-scale hotel-hospital complexes and high-tech entertainment complexes. Research and develop a model for night-time economic development to serve tourism in accordance with advantages and practical conditions, especially in accordance with the ability to build supporting infrastructure, investment resources and the ability to mobilize and attract investment in each specific location.

Building a smart, convenient software system to support management, serve tourists in looking up information, and promote Hanoi tourism; management software to collect and process databases to investigate and evaluate the current status of rural agricultural tourism in Hanoi; Digitize, connect, and integrate tourism data into the general information and management data system according to the instructions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Training, fostering and developing tourism human resources will also be promoted, such as training tourism communities in vocational skills and soft skills, civilized tourism behavior, and raising awareness of responsibility for sustainable tourism development.
