Building Le Quy Don Secondary and High School to become a bright spot in the Capital's Education sector

(CPV) - Continuing the 15-year tradition of construction and development, teachers and students of Le Quy Don Secondary and High School (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) continue to strive to build the school into a trusted address, a bright spot in the capital'seducation sector.

On November 19, Le Quy Don Secondary and High School (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi) held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024) and the 15th anniversary of the School's founding (2009 - 2024), marking the journey of sustainable development and outstanding achievements in the field of education.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Principal of Le Quy Don Secondary and High School emphasized that with a strategic vision, meeting all requirements of the period of innovation, exchange, and deep international integration; with the ability to adapt quickly, constantly innovate, and continuously innovate; over the past 15 years, with the spirit of solidarity and determination to overcome all difficulties, teachers and students of the school have achieved many remarkable achievements. From a small school with only 2 classes with less than 50 secondary school students, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, up to now, the school has had remarkable development in both the scale of the school and the quality of education. With an advanced educational model, the school has created a learning environment that encourages students to develop both intellectually and physically. Students are not only equipped with knowledge but also trained in life skills, creative thinking and physical fitness.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan said: Over the past time, the school has always been steadfast in its goal of developing into a high-quality school, enhancing English. In addition to improving the quality of education according to the program of the Ministry of Education and Training, the school focuses on investing in career orientation programs, STEM experiences and expanding international cooperation...

“For the benefit of ten years, plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, cultivate people”, continuing the glorious tradition of the past 15 years, the generation of teachers and students of the school today vows to devote all their efforts and intelligence to excellently complete the task of cultivating people, building Le Quy Don Secondary and High School into a reliable address, a bright spot of the Capital's Education sector”, affirmed Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan sent his sincere thanks to generations of teachers and school staff who have not been afraid of difficulties and always considered Le Quy Don school as their second home; at the same time, he expressed his gratitude to teachers and parents who have cared for and accompanied their children to study and practice well so that they can become useful people for society in the future.  

The theme "Green Growth" of today's Celebration carries a profound message about the sustainable and inspiring development journey of Le Quy Don Secondary and High School over the past 15 years. The school's 15-year journey is the cultivation of many generations of teachers, students and parents, creating a vibrant educational community where each individual is encouraged to develop their potential, while contributing to society with sustainable values. "Green Growth" is not only a source of pride for the achievements, but also an affirmation of the aspiration to build a brighter future, where knowledge and humanity go hand in hand to create young generations who dare to dream and dare to realize their dreams.

Le Quy Don Secondary and High School (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi), formerly Le Quy Don Private Secondary School, was established in 2009 with the goal of building a comprehensive and modern educational environment. In 2018, the school opened a high school level and changed its name to Le Quy Don Secondary and High School, since then the Le Quy Don education system has completed all 4 levels from Kindergarten to Primary, Secondary and High School.

Over the past 15 years, the school has grown to build an inter-level system with nearly 1,750 students at both secondary and high school levels. The school has achieved many proud achievements: 16 City-level excellent student awards in the cultural subject selection contest; 96 District and Cluster-level excellent student awards; 1,094 awards in national and international Olympic competitions; 25 awards for scientific research and young informatics.

The graduation rate of junior high school and high school is always 100%; the 10th grade entrance exam results are in the Top 4 of Nam Tu Liem district, many students are admitted to specialized schools in Hanoi; 100% of high school graduates pass the university entrance exam or win scholarships to study abroad.
