Building Tien Hai island commune green, clean, beautiful, friendly and safe

On August 19 and 20, the Tien Hai Commune Party Committee (An Giang Province) held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Major General Nguyen Van Han, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of An Giang Provincial Police, attended and delivered a speech directing the congress.

The Party Committee of the commune must correctly and fully perceive the role, potential and opportunities of the commune in the overall new development space of the province and the region to renew its thinking, vision and determine breakthrough tasks for the development of Tien Hai to be worthy of being an attractive marine eco-tourism destination, promoting sustainable marine economic values; maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs; aiming to build a commune without crime, safe in terms of security and order...

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Growth", the Tien Hai Commune Party Congress identified breakthroughs for the 2025 - 2030 term, including building a green, clean, beautiful, friendly and safe Tien Hai island commune; focusing on developing marine economy and services, tourism to become a driving force for development in all fields; applying science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Representatives of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of An Giang Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Party Executive Committee of Tien Hai commune.

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint the Executive Committee of the Tien Hai Commune Party Committee, Term I, consisting of 21 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Party Committee consists of 7 comrades. Comrade Mai Quoc Thang was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Tien Hai Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
