Gasoline tanker catches fire at night

At around 2:00 a.m. this morning (May 16), a gasoline tanker with a license plate of Da Nang City, driven by Vo Duc Dat (born in 1976, residing in Hai Chau district, Da Nang), was traveling on National Highway 14 in the direction from Gia Lai to Kon Tum .

When moving to the section of National Highway 14 intersecting with the western bypass of Pleiku City (in Hoa Phu commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai province), the car suddenly had a rear right tire explosion.

After a tire burst, a gasoline tanker caught fire at night.

Immediately after, the car caught fire fiercely. The fire from the rear wheel area quickly spread to other locations.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Traffic Police and Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Gia Lai Provincial Police were present at the scene to extinguish the fire.

Fortunately, at the time of the incident, there was no gasoline left in the tanker. Initial damage is estimated at around 20 million VND.
