On April 9, Russia released a video recording the scene of a Su-34 fighter bomber accurately attacking a target in Chernihiv, Ukraine. This is an area located near the Bryansk region of Russia.
The Su-34 "flying tank" launched a Kh-29TD missile that accurately hit the bridge over the Sudost River, causing serious damage. It will be difficult for motor vehicles to move across this bridge in the near future.

According to Russian media, this is considered a strategic bridge because it is suspected to be the route used by Ukrainian special forces to move to the Bryansk region to attack Moscow's targets.
Since the conflict between the two countries broke out, Russia has repeatedly accused Ukraine of attacking the border area, but Kiev has often not claimed responsibility. According to Top War , the destruction of the bridge is believed to have been aimed at preventing Ukraine from entering Bryansk.
Ukraine has not commented on the attack, nor on the suspicions raised by Russian media.
The Su-34, nicknamed the "flying tank", is one of the top fighter bombers in the Russian arsenal. One of the Su-34's main strengths is its versatility, as it can carry most of Russia's modern weapons, from unguided bombs to satellite-guided missiles.
In addition, the Su-34 is equipped with the Hibin electronic warfare system on the wingtips, which is responsible for conducting electronic countermeasures against radars, air defense missile systems or early warning aircraft, giving the Su-34 stealth capabilities.
