The exhibition Ho Chi Minh Campaign - Symbol of revolutionary heroism takes place from April 14 to May 15 at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History.
Looking back at a heroic page of the nation's history
According to the organizers, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, the exhibition is an opportunity for the city's people to view valuable documentary photos and review the heroic tradition, promote revolutionary heroism, determination to fight and win, and the creative spirit of our army and people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Through documentary photos, viewers can look back at a heroic page in the great history of building and defending the country of our people.
In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Khac Xuan Thi - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History shared:
"The victory of April 30, 1975 originated from the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the great President Ho Chi Minh, from the strength of the great national unity bloc and the determination to fight for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, of our army and people.
The Vietnamese people have won the resistance war against the US, completed their glorious historical mission, and now have entered a new era, an era of working together to build a democratic, fair, and civilized country.
This exhibition will introduce to the public 60 images and documents recording important moments of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
