Watch Vietnam Air Force aircraft practice in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of April 18, the Air Defense - Air Force organized a practice flight in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

10 Mi-8 and Mi-17 helicopters with Party and national flags entered the city center at 9:00 a.m.

The flying formation is divided into 3 groups in order 3-4-3, pulling a flag nearly 20 square meters wide and a counterweight weighing 120 kg.

Following the helicopter formation were three Yak-130s, a multi-role trainer aircraft.

The Su-30MK2 flies in arrow formation with precise coordination in every flight move.

The Su-30MK2 pilots are all experienced pilots.

A formation of 4 Su-30MK2s flew over the central area of District 1.

The flight formation practiced twice this morning.

Helicopter formation flies back and forth over the high-rise buildings in the City

An observation station of the Air Defense - Air Force is located at Diamond Plaza building (District 1) to monitor flight activities.
