Cam Thanh Ward reviews young people of military age to join the army in 2026

In 2026, based on the targets assigned by Military Region 5, the Provincial Military Service Council allocated targets to 96 communes, wards, and special zones under 5 Regional Defense Commands, with a total target of 3,570 young people.

In Cam Thanh ward, the ward's Military Service Council and the Military Command of Region 1 have reviewed and approved 2,556 citizens of military age ready to join the army in 2026. The review process was carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly and democratically, based on specific criteria on political qualities, ethics, health, educational level and family circumstances.

In Son Tinh commune, the Commune Military Service Council and Military Command of Region 1 approved the military service review plan, deployed related documents and selected 935 eligible citizens.

Through screening, the whole province has nearly 72,800 citizens eligible to submit to the Commune-level Military Service Council for approval, 24/96 communes, wards and special zones have completed the approval work, the remaining localities will complete in September 2025.
