Thanh Thang Cement operates line 5, capacity 2.3 million tons/year

The firing ceremony of kiln line No. 5 has just been carried out by Thanh Thang Group Cement Joint Stock Company, officially putting into operation the production line of sulfate-resistant saline-resistant cement in Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province.

Thanh Thang Group Cement Joint Stock Company has just held a kiln-firing ceremony, officially putting into operation line 5, specializing in producing high-quality cement products and sulfate-resistant salt-resistant cement in Ha Nam. This event has brought the Group's total cement capacity to 10 million tons.

Line 5 is designed using the dry method, with a rotary kiln system and a 2-branch heat exchange tower, 5 cyclone floors, a decomposition chamber, burning 100% low-volatility coal, and a power generation system utilizing residual heat, with a capacity of 10MW.

6 years ago, on December 28, 2018, the Prime Minister approved lines 4 and 5 of Thanh Thang Cement, with a capacity of 2.3 million tons/year each, to supplement the Vietnam Cement Industry Plan from 2011 - 2020, with a vision to 2030.

Specifically, the Prime Minister agreed to add 2 production lines of Thanh Thang Cement Factory, Ha Nam Province (production lines No. 4 and No. 5), each with a capacity of 2.3 million tons of cement/year, combining waste treatment to protect the environment and creating high-quality cement products, sulfate-resistant saline cement for construction of coastal and island projects, to the Vietnam Cement Industry Development Plan for the period 2011 - 2020 and orientation to 2030.

Line 4 will be put into operation after 2021 and line 5 after 2025.

In December 2021, Thanh Thang Group Cement Joint Stock Company put into operation line number 4.

Line 4 of Thanh Thang Cement Factory has a total investment of 4,951 billion VND; produces sulfate-resistant saline cement with a kiln capacity of 6,000 tons of clinker/day, and a capacity of 2.3 million tons of cement/year.

Putting line No. 5 into operation not only increases the production capacity of Thanh Thang Group Cement Joint Stock Company to 10 million tons, but also creates new advantages in the production and business of the enterprise, helping to meet the demand for sulfate-resistant saline cement products serving the construction of coastal and island projects nationwide.
