Xiaomi 15S Pro is Xiaomi's first smartphone equipped with the self-developed XRING O1 chip. The product has a 6.73-inch 4-sided curved OLED screen with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels, using the M9 panel developed by TCL Huaxing with a dynamic refresh rate of 1 - 120 Hz and brightness up to 3,200 nits. The screen also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner underneath.

But the highlight of the Xiaomi 15S Pro is the company's first custom XRING O1 chip. The chip is manufactured on a 3nm process with 19 billion transistors, a 10-core CPU with 2 X925 cores running at up to 3.9 GHz and a 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. In addition, the chip also integrates MediaTek's brand new T800 modem, which is said to power the Pixel 10 series.
According to a report from Gizmochina , the XRING O1 appeared on AnTuTu and surprisingly surpassed Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite with scores of 2,535,163 and 2,515,259 respectively. Although the gap between the XRING O1 and its competitor is only 0.79% (19,904 points), this is still a remarkable achievement for a first processor chip produced by Xiaomi.

Xiaomi's 10-core processor promises to deliver stable and powerful performance. According to AnTuTu tests, the XRING O1 scored 3,119 points in single-core mode and 9,673 points in multi-core mode. However, experts warn that the processor's power efficiency and heat dissipation capabilities still need to be carefully evaluated. This is important because no one wants to experience overheating or not having enough battery to last the whole day.
In addition to the Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi also launched another product using the XRING O1 chip, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra tablet. However, information about the global launch date of these devices has not been announced yet.
