The Thach Quy urban area (Thanh Sen ward) commenced construction at the end of July this year.

At the end of July 2025, the Thach Quy Urban Area (Thanh Sen Ward) officially commenced construction. The project has a total investment of over 800 billion VND, approved by the Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 12/QD-UBND dated April 21, 2022; and the investment policy was adjusted under Decision No. 07/QD-UBND dated January 26, 2024. The Thach Quy Urban Area adds to the growing number of modern urban areas being invested in the central wards of the province, offering modern, convenient, and integrated functions.

Mr. Vu Hong Su, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skyland Group Investment Joint Stock Company, the project's investor, stated: “The urban area covers 10.1 hectares and is located in a prime location in Thanh Sen ward. The project will be a complete functional complex, including townhouses, apartments, land plots, offices, commercial services, social housing, etc., meeting the diverse needs of residents and secondary investors. We also hope that the urban area will continue to be an architectural highlight, shaping a model urban area to improve the quality of life for residents and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.”

Construction units are currently working on the foundation and infrastructure such as roads and electricity at the Thach Quy Urban Area.

Immediately after the commencement of construction, the investor coordinated with contractors to implement infrastructure construction, foundation work, and the initial items such as roads, water supply and drainage, and electricity. The project aims to be completed within 36 months from the date of commencement.

The Le Van Thiem Luxury City urban area is expected to be operational by the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026.

Also in Thanh Sen ward, the Le Van Thiem Luxury City urban area, located in one of the "core development points" of a type II urban area, is under construction. The project has a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND, covers more than 2.7 hectares, and is positioned as a luxury real estate project with 61 villas, townhouses, and shophouses. A highlight of the project is its super-connected location, from Media Vinpearl Plaza and Media Vincom to schools, hospitals, and the Ham Nghi traffic artery connecting the central urban area to the west…

The project, once operational, will provide a plentiful supply to the real estate market, meeting housing needs and creating urban spaces and architecture; at the same time, it will also be one of the driving forces attracting investment to the province's central urban area. According to the investor, the project will be operational by the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026.

At the same time, the development of new urban areas and model cities aims to meet the housing needs of the people in the context of rapid urbanization, where the current trend for housing is towards green, smart, and modern homes; creating momentum to improve urban quality and meet the requirements of the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

However, this investment sector still faces challenges; many projects in the area are behind schedule and prolonged, and some investment projects lack efficiency… These “bottlenecks” require the cooperation and efforts of investors and the government so that new urban areas and model urban areas truly become places for people to live and become bright spots in the province's investment landscape.
