On September 17th, at the regular August press conference, representatives from the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Education and Training responded to the request from Ly Tu Trong Primary School (Ea Drang commune; formerly part of Ea H'leo district, Dak Lak province) for parents to prepare multiple sets of uniforms for their children, including a requirement to wear three different colors each week.

Previously, the press reported that Ly Tu Trong Primary School requested each student to prepare multiple types of uniforms, wearing blue shirts on Mondays and Wednesdays, orange shirts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and white, orange, or blue shirts on Fridays; however, students had to wear the PE uniform during physical education classes.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province worked with the leaders of the Ea Drang commune People's Committee and the principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School. After verification, the Department of Education and Training confirmed that the content reflected in the press was accurate.
According to a representative from the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Education and Training, Ly Tu Trong Primary School planned to have uniforms made for its students before the start of the new school year. However, after receiving feedback from parents and the press, the school held a meeting and decided to temporarily suspend the uniform making for this school year.

According to a representative from the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Education and Training, the Ly Tu Trong Primary School explained that the additional uniforms were not a general policy but a private agreement between parents of each class and homeroom teachers, aimed at providing specific attire for group activities. However, this approach has caused misunderstandings and created an unnecessary burden for parents.
The Department of Education and Training affirms that it will thoroughly address the issue of "chaos" in school uniforms. The department's leadership has requested a detailed report from the school and will draw conclusions, taking appropriate action against those responsible.
