Traffic Police and Provincial Police made a record and handled the driver who violated traffic safety on National Highway 1, through Chi Lang commune, Lang Son province.

The above are 2 of many cases that the traffic police force received and handled through images provided by the people. Since the beginning of 2025, the traffic police force in the whole province has received over 600 information, images, and clips provided by the people through information pages and channels such as: zalo, facebook... with images of violations of traffic safety regulations such as: vehicles carrying bulky goods; passenger vehicles stopping and parking in the wrong place; cars recklessly overtaking on prohibited roads; teenagers riding motorbikes doing wheelies, weaving, swerving, going into prohibited roads, roads in the opposite direction... Of which, up to 80% of the images provided by the people have been handled by the authorities.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Dao, a bus driver on the Hanoi - Lang Son route, shared: I have been driving a bus on the Lang Son - Hanoi route for nearly 20 years. Previously, traffic violations by drivers on the road were a daily occurrence, but recently, thanks to the authorities' drastic handling of violations through images provided by people, many drivers have complied with traffic safety laws. Regarding the authorities' strict handling of violations through cameras, I fully support them, because this not only promotes the active participation of people in monitoring traffic safety violations, but also contributes significantly to building a civilized and safe traffic culture.

In reality, fines through images play an important role in ensuring traffic safety and order. In addition to the installed "cold fine" camera systems, information and images provided by citizens will also help the traffic police force inspect, verify and strictly handle violations. Currently, many cars have dash cams, participating in traffic on the road can record real images of traffic violations or people use smartphones to film and take pictures and send them to the police. The data provided by citizens will greatly support the traffic police force in inspecting and handling violations.

Lieutenant Colonel Phuong Thuc Dinh, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police, said: Recently, the people's provision of images and clips related to traffic safety violations has been received and strictly handled by the Traffic Police force to create a social effect, raising awareness of traffic law compliance for people when driving vehicles, especially on the Zalo page "ATGT vi binh an Xu Lang" with over 760 active members... After receiving information and images reflecting traffic safety order, we will verify and promptly handle violations in accordance with legal regulations. This is a form of "cold" handling that the force has been applying quite effectively recently. We welcome people to accompany the functional forces, contributing to preventing traffic violations, raising awareness of compliance and compliance with traffic safety order.

Currently, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police receives information and images reflecting violations through channels such as: the on-duty phone number of the Traffic Police Department: 02053.811.294; mobile number 0692.569.358; email address [email protected] and through online interaction channels Zalo account "Traffic Safety Information of Lang Son Provincial Police", "Traffic Safety for Peace of Lang"; Facebook account "Fanpage: Traffic Police Department - Lang Son Provincial Police" or send directly to the address: Traffic Police Department - Lang Son Provincial Police, No. 1, Tran Phu Street, Ky Lua Ward, Lang Son Province.
