According to the report, on the same morning, after the Department of Education and Training received a clip of a fight between a group of teenagers, it was later determined that the incident occurred at night, in front of the gate of the Hoa Hong Kindergarten sub-school.

After receiving the above information, the Department of Education and Training informed My Thanh ward; at the same time, requested Nguyen Hue Secondary School to verify and report to the Department of Education and Training.

The results showed that in the clip, a female student of VTTQ (class 6A7, Nguyen Hue Secondary School) was beaten with helmets by a group of teenagers outside (not students of the school) at night, outside the gate of Hoa Hong Kindergarten (sub-school). The incident happened on the evening of May 20, but the school did not receive any feedback from the student and the parents of the student who was beaten.

Regarding the results of the handling, the school principal asked the head teacher to invite the parents and the beaten students to the school to verify and clarify the cause. Student Q. reported that the family of the group of teenagers came to the house to apologize and reconcile. Student Q. also had no injuries.

According to the school's report, My Thanh Ward Police are continuing to verify and investigate to resolve the incident and will report to local leaders. The school has regularly promoted prevention of school violence during the weekly flag-raising ceremony, homeroom meetings and coordinated with families in preventing school violence.

However, due to the incident happening outside, the school has difficulty managing students after hours (evening). The school will learn from this experience and do better in the future.

For the Department of Education and Training of Long Xuyen City, it will continue to assign leaders and specialists to direct and monitor the incident to prevent it from happening again at Nguyen Hue Secondary School as well as other schools in the area.

At the same time, direct schools to strengthen coordination with localities and parents to monitor and manage their children when they are not at school, especially during the upcoming summer vacation months.
