On September 1, social networks continued to be stirred up by several clips related to a fight between a group of people releasing fish and a group of people injecting fish.

NHP Facebook account posted 3 clips with the content "Full scene of the fight between the fish release gang and the electric shock gang at Dieu Phap Pagoda". This post also attracted the attention of viewers, causing outrage and controversy about releasing fish.

Accordingly, the clip marked number 1 (about 25 seconds long) records a man rowing a boat close to the shore, cursing and challenging while stabbing and scooping up fish. The fish that were stung and scooped up were the fish that people standing on the shore had just released into the river.

The man who injected the fish cursed and challenged the group of people who released the fish.

The clip marked number 2 (about 30 seconds long) continues to record the image of the man continuously injecting and scooping fish into the boat. Some of the floating lanterns on the river were also destroyed by this man using a fish injector.

The man continuously stabbed the fish in front of the releaser.

In the clip marked number 3, a man on the shore (believed to be the one releasing the animals) threw a rock at the boat of the man throwing the fish. When the second rock was thrown, the fisherman jumped out of the boat and approached, using his oar to hit the rock thrower in the head.

Immediately after, the two men got into a fight. Both fell into the river. At this time, another man who was fishing nearby also rushed over and used his oar to continuously hit the man who threw the rock to "rescue" his friend.

Clash between fish injection group and fish release group

On the shore, the group of people releasing the fish also grabbed the oars and continuously threw rocks at the two men who were stinging the fish. After that, the two men gradually retreated.

Previously, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper also reported on this incident. It is known that the incident occurred on the evening of August 30 (July 15 of the lunar calendar) at the riverbank of the area for releasing animals and releasing flower lanterns at Dieu Phap Pagoda (Ward 13, Binh Thanh District).

Local leaders said they had received the case and the police had also invited Mr. Nguyen Van Tan (manager of Dieu Phap pagoda) to clarify.

Mr. Tan said that at nearly 8:00 p.m. on August 30, Buddhists released fish at the riverbank next to the grounds of Dieu Phap Pagoda. At that time, some people came by boat to inject and scoop up the fish to release. The Buddhists asked those who scooped up the fish to leave the area.

The two sides had an argument and some Buddhists could not keep calm so they jumped in to chase away the group of people who were fishing.
