This is an activity in response to the "HbA1c < 7 Campaign - High blood sugar, many complications", within the framework of the "First Day" Project organized by Servier Vietnam Company in collaboration with the Vietnam Endocrine and Diabetes Association.
At the scientific meeting, doctors from the Provincial Endocrinology Hospital and Provincial General Hospital No. 2 presented papers on optimizing treatment to control complications in diabetic patients as well as effectively control blood pressure.

Doctors and nurses participating in the program actively discussed and acquired new professional knowledge in the treatment of diabetes.

The Provincial Endocrinology Hospital is managing and treating over 3,000 patients with diabetes. The scientific activity program creates opportunities for doctors, pharmacists, and nurses to exchange clinical experiences and access new medical advances, contributing to improving the quality of care and treatment for patients, while promoting inter-disciplinary coordination, bringing comprehensive treatment results for diabetic patients.
If diabetes is not well controlled, it can cause many dangerous complications for the patient, such as complications in the eyes, brain, heart, kidneys, etc. Therefore, controlling blood sugar is extremely important, helping the patient ensure quality of life.
To achieve the best treatment results, people with diabetes need to strictly follow their doctor's instructions, have a healthy diet (high in fiber, low in fat, low in salt, moderate in carbohydrates, etc.), get adequate rest and exercise regularly.
