Experts from the cybersecurity company CyRadar have reported that recently, some users in Vietnam have been tricked into accessing fake Telegram pages to steal passwords and accounts.

Malicious actors create fake domains impersonating Telegram and build websites with interfaces similar to the messaging app. They then distribute fake links through Telegram chat groups to lure users into accessing them in order to steal passwords and accounts.

After stealing a user's account, the perpetrators use the victim's private chat content to extort money, or they may use the victim's account to scam other people.
