A "stranger" appeared observing the closed training session of U23 Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - During the training session yesterday afternoon (July 28) of U23 Vietnam before the final match of the U23 Southeast Asian tournament, a stranger appeared and observed coach Kim Sang Sik's team.

According to the registration of the Vietnam U23 team with the Organizing Committee (OC) of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 tournament, our training session before the final match is a closed session.

However, the Organizing Committee arranged for the U23 Vietnam team to practice on a field near the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex (Jakarta, Indonesia). The U23 Vietnam team's practice field has a rather sketchy fence and is not surrounded by closed stands.

In addition, when the U23 Vietnam team started training, the whole team discovered a stranger sitting on the roof of a corner of the stadium's stands, from a position that could observe the entire U23 Vietnam team.

Immediately, Coach Kim Sang Sik requested to temporarily stop this training session and ask those responsible to intervene. Mr. Kim Sang Sik and members of the U23 Vietnam team asked this stranger to leave his position and leave the field, so that the U23 Vietnam team could have privacy in preparing for the final match.

According to initial information, the stranger is a member of the Organizing Committee. It is unclear what his purpose was in observing the training session of Coach Kim Sang Sik's team?

However, it seems that the Korean coach had prepared in advance. Yesterday's training session of U23 Vietnam was mainly relaxed. As for the tactical exercises, coach Kim Sang Sik probably prepared them elsewhere, at another time, to avoid being predicted by the opponent.
