On April 25, Allkpop posted handwritten letters posted on trees in the Moonbin memorial park.
ASTRO singer and actor Cha Eun-woo sent a message: "Bin! I missed you so much tonight. You're so mean! I couldn't sleep so Sanha and I went for a walk. Did you sleep well? I miss and regret everything we did with you, even the simplest things. Be a hundred times happier on the moon! Don't worry too much about everything you left behind, I'll take care of everything for you. You worked hard. I love you and I'm sorry, your friend."

Other members of the ASTRO group expressed their condolences. Male singer Sanha wrote: "Are you still well? I miss you so much and I still see you appearing in front of me. I know if we continue like this, you will scold me, but please forgive me for now. Like you said, I will be very happy and will keep my word"; "It's me, Bin! Like you said, I'm trying to live and smile. I will start practicing musicals, I will eat your rice too. I will take care of my parents and Moon Sua so don't worry about anything" - Jinjin shared.

Many people mourn Moonbin
Moonbin's younger sister, Moon Sua - currently an idol singer and member of the group Billie - sobbed: "Brother, it's me! I'm here again. I cried a lot so I won't cry anymore. I will laugh a lot, do what I want and live happily. You must be happy when you're there. You must always watch over me to see if I'm doing well! If I'm tired or have difficulties, I will often come to you to complain, so you must listen. I love you very much and will always be your little sister."
SEVENTEEN's Mingyu wrote, "…I'll work harder! Don't get sick and smile a lot over there. Sorry, you worked hard! Next time you harvest, I'll treat you to soju and fish cake soup! Please cheer on your group members from afar!"…
Moonbin passed away at the age of 25
At around 8:10 p.m. on April 19, Moonbin's manager discovered him dead at his home and immediately called the police. Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after.
Police said preliminary investigations showed Moonbin may have committed suicide but it was only a suspicion. Some fans were inclined to assume that the singer died due to health problems.
Moonbin entered the entertainment industry as a child model and actor at the age of 6. He acted in the movie "Boys Over Flowers" as So Yi-jung when he was young. In 2016, he debuted as a member of the group ASTRO. In 2019, he officially returned as an actor, participating in several movies and TV shows.
In November 2019, Moonbin temporarily halted all promotional activities with ASTRO due to health problems. After recovering, in 2020, he returned as a permanent MC of the program "Show Champion" with Sanha, and participated in the movie "The Mermaid Prince".
In September 2020, he and Sanha became ASTRO's first sub-unit and released a mini album called IN-OUT. Moonbin is still active in the arts until now.
