On October 9, Hungary announced that it had organized two flights to evacuate 215 citizens from Israel and all of them landed safely in Budapest.

Sharing on Facebook, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said the flights were carried out overnight thanks to the support of authorities from Israel, Cyprus, Greece, Türkiye, Bulgaria and Romania who quickly granted permission for the flights.

Earlier, on October 8, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that the country would send military planes to evacuate citizens from Israel. On social network X, President Andrzej Duda announced: "We are sending air force transport planes to evacuate Poles currently in Israel. Soldiers from our special forces will ensure their safety."
Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said Poland had sent two C-130 Hercules aircraft to evacuate about 200 Poles from Ben Gurion airport.
According to a VNA correspondent in Bangkok, Thai authorities are coordinating with many parties and urgently implementing measures to ensure the safety and evacuation of Thai citizens in Israel amid escalating conflicts between Hamas and Israel.

Thai Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Kanchana Patarachoke said that on October 8, Thai Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai chaired an emergency meeting to discuss the latest situation in Israel.
On the same day, Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) Commander Phanphakdee Phatthanakul held an emergency meeting with senior commanders in the force to prepare for the evacuation of Thai workers stranded in Israel.
At the end of the meeting, the RTAF chief ordered five C-130 military transport planes and one Airbus 340 passenger plane to be put on standby to evacuate Thai workers after Israel opened its airspace.
Regarding the escalating conflict between Israel and Hamas, on October 9, the Israeli army said it had attacked 500 locations controlled by the Hamas Islamic movement and its branch Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip.
Accordingly, airstrikes and artillery shelling targeted many high-rise buildings, including the homes and command posts of senior Hamas members. In addition, Israeli military spokesman Richard Hecht said that as of October 9, the two sides were still fighting at 7-8 locations around the Gaza Strip and that the force hoped to completely control the situation by the end of the day.
