(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A wood chip factory in Dak Lak unexpectedly caught fire, with the flames spreading rapidly. Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to the surrounding area.
On the morning of January 27th, authorities in Dak Lak province were investigating the cause of a major fire at a wood chip factory in Ea H'leo commune (Ea H'leo district).
According to initial information, the incident occurred at approximately 8:45 PM on January 26th at a wood chip factory. At that time, the fire quickly spread intensely due to strong winds, with thick black smoke spreading to surrounding areas, posing a risk of further fire spread.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak province dispatched 30 officers and soldiers and 5 fire trucks to the scene to coordinate with the Ea H'leo district police and local forces in extinguishing the fire.

Realizing that the fire would spread rapidly if not extinguished promptly, authorities cordoned off the area, put out the fire, and mobilized personnel to move flammable materials away.
By 11:45 PM the same day, the fire was extinguished. Preliminary estimates indicate the burned area was approximately 300 square meters, with estimated property damage of 350 million VND. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak province, thanks to the effective coordination of various units and the support of the people, the fire was brought under control in a timely manner, preventing it from spreading and protecting many valuable assets.
