The World Travel Awards (WTA) organization has honored dozens of Vietnamese hotels and resorts in various categories as "leading in Asia".

The Capella Hanoi Hotel was honored by the WTA in the category of Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel 2024. Located on Le Phung Hieu Street, near the Hanoi Opera House, it is a building that celebrates the art of opera, recreating the classic hotel space from the golden age of chamber symphony.
The hotel was designed by world-renowned architect Bill Bensley, who previously designed Capella Ubub in Bali and a chain of resorts in Da Nang , Sa Pa, and Phu Quoc. Room rates start from over 11 million VND.
Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards (WTA) is a prestigious award recognized worldwide and often referred to as the "Oscar of the tourism industry." It is held annually to honor achievements in the sector.

Premier Village Ha Long Bay Resort (Oakwood Ha Long), Quang Ninh province, won the award for Asia's Leading Family Villa. The resort comprises 86 villas with an open design, allowing guests to fully enjoy the sea air and breeze even while indoors.
The villa features a spacious living room, an indoor kitchen, and an outdoor dining area, perfect for large multi-generational families. Room rates start from 2 million VND.
The WTA awards are given in three tiers from highest to lowest: world (usually announced at the end of the year), regional, and national. Voting is done online, with participants including travelers, experts, and CEOs in the travel and tourism industry. One vote from an expert is counted as two regular votes.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has been awarded the titles of Asia's Leading Green Resort and Luxury Resort. La Maison 1888, located within the resort, was the first establishment in Da Nang to receive a Michelin star in June. Room rates start from over 15 million VND.

Representing Da Nang, Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills won the award for Asia's Leading Themed Resort.
Located within the French Village complex, the resort offers panoramic views of Da Nang city from an altitude of nearly 1,500 meters, with almost 500 rooms distributed across 7 buildings, named after famous French cities. Many visitors describe this accommodation as "like a miniature France on top of Ba Na Hill". Room rates start from over 2.7 million VND.

Banyan Tree Lang Co boasts 86 secluded beachfront villas, all with private pools, nestled between the Truong Son mountain range and overlooking the East Sea, winning the award for Asia's Leading Luxury Beach Resort. This is the fourth consecutive time the resort has received this award.
Located approximately 60 minutes by car from Da Nang and Phu Bai (Hue) airports, the secluded resort in Lang Co is a destination for a luxurious getaway. Visitors often choose to explore Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An and then stop here to admire the pristine beauty of Lang Co Bay. Room rates start from 11 million VND.

Located in isolation on Ninh Van Bay in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay has been honored in two categories: Asia's Leading Romantic Resort and Leading Honeymoon Resort.
The 58 villas are scattered across cliffs, hillsides, and along the beach. All the villas are built of wood in the traditional architectural style, with roofs thatched with coconut leaves. Room rates start from over 12 million VND.

Nha Trang Marriott Resort & Spa, located on Hon Tre Island, is the next representative from Khanh Hoa province to be named by WTA 2024. This property won the award for Asia's Leading New Resort.
The resort's design is inspired by the peaceful scenery of the white sandy beach, located about 10 minutes by boat or 12 minutes by cable car from Nha Trang city. Room rates start from 2.5 million VND.

Built on the grounds of a university dating back to 1889, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa has been honored in two categories: Asia's Leading Spa Resort and Asia's Leading Luxury Wedding Resort.
Located on Khem Beach in Phu Quoc, this property with over 230 rooms is also a masterpiece by the design wizard Bill Bensley. Room rates start from 7.6 million VND.
Phu Quoc is a destination with many resorts and hotels honored at this year's WTA. Besides JW Marriott, other accommodations mentioned include InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort and Premier Residences Phu Quoc Emerald Bay (Asia's Leading Family Resort); and La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc - MGallery (Asia's Leading Boutique Resort).

Hôtel des Arts Saigon, MGallery Collection, representing Ho Chi Minh City, won the award for Asia's Leading Hotel Design. Located on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 3, the hotel features a classic yet modern design, an infinity pool, and restaurants serving Asian and European cuisine. Room rates start from VND 4.5 million.

InterContinental Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is Asia's leading hotel dedicated to hosting conferences.
Located at the intersection of Le Duan and Hai Ba Trung streets, this accommodation is close to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office. Guests are also just minutes away from attractions such as Nguyen Hue Walking Street and Bach Dang Wharf – a popular check-in spot for young people. Furthermore, destinations like the Independence Palace, the City Theatre, and Ben Thanh Market are all within a radius of approximately three kilometers. Room rates start from 5.8 million VND.
