10 countries have comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam

As of February 2025, Vietnam has comprehensive strategic partnerships with 10 countries, including: China, the Russian Federation, India, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Australia, France, Malaysia and New Zealand.

On February 26, 2025, within the framework of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's official visit to Vietnam and attendance at the 2nd ASEAN Future Forum, the two countries signed a Joint Statement on upgrading Vietnam-New Zealand relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. As of February 2025, Vietnam has Comprehensive Strategic Partnerships with 10 countries.
