Ca Mau inaugurated works to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030

On the afternoon of October 16, Ca Mau province solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of works to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Attending the inauguration ceremony were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang; leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Leaders of Ca Mau province attending the ceremony included Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Lu Van Hung; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Ho Thanh Thuy.

The works inaugurated to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 include: Phan Ngoc Hien Square; Bridge over Ganh Hao River; Monument of the Train Gathering to the North (Song Doc); Monument of the Victory of Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La; History Book of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; Yearbook of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers of Ca Mau Province; Ca Mau Provincial Sports Complex; Upgrading the East Sea dyke and the culvert system through the dyke; Provincial Police Hall; Bac Lieu Prince Hotel; High-tech super-intensive shrimp farming project.

The works inaugurated this time not only have the meaning of welcoming the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, but are also architectural highlights, community living spaces, and typical marks for the development vision of Ca Mau with the construction of synchronous infrastructure, comprehensive and sustainable development of economy - society - culture - people.

The completed projects have demonstrated the spirit of solidarity, determination, and efforts to overcome difficulties of the Party Committee, the Government, the People and the construction units; they are the crystallization of the Party's will and the people's heart. This is also a vivid demonstration of the strength of solidarity, the spirit and aspiration to contribute and join hands to build the homeland of Ca Mau to become more and more prosperous.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai affirmed: The works inaugurated today, together with important works and projects of the Central Government being invested in the province, not only increasingly meet the needs of transport infrastructure, irrigation, culture, education, tourism, but also contribute significantly to promoting the socio-economic development of the province, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, creating new momentum and a new look for the province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai respectfully thanked the timely leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee and the Government; the prompting, reminders and encouragement of the leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front; the enthusiastic support of ministries, departments and branches; the valuable contributions of leaders and former leaders of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu provinces through the periods; agencies, units and all the people of the province who have contributed to completing the projects and works on schedule.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai requested management units, local authorities and people to pay attention to preserving, exploiting and using projects and works for the right purposes, effectively and sustainably; promoting the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, creativity, and determination to successfully carry out the political, economic and social tasks set out in the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, soon turning Ca Mau - the southernmost province of the Fatherland into a comprehensively developed province, confidently entering a new era with the whole country.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 09 collectives and 22 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the construction of works to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Ho Thanh Thuy awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals.

Before that, the delegates visited the exhibition space, images, artifacts, documents of Party Congresses through the periods, OCOP products and achievements in socio-economic development of Ca Mau province at Phan Ngoc Hien Square.

Leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial leaders visited the exhibition space.
