Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vu Khac Quang attended the 1st Congress of the Fatherland Front of Nam Quang commune.

On October 17, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Quang commune organized the first Congress of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Vu Khac Quang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended and directed the Congress.

Also attending were representatives of specialized departments and offices of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Veterans' Association and Provincial Youth Union; Standing members of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of Nam Quang commune and 193 outstanding delegates representing the great national unity bloc in the commune.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of Nam Quang commune have effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements and campaigns and achieved many outstanding results: Supporting the construction and repair of 408 Great Unity houses with a total cost of nearly 18 billion VND; mobilizing people to donate over 2,000m² of land, cash contributions and labor days worth over 400 million VND, socializing over 128 million VND; mobilizing 50 tons of cement to build 2.2km of rural roads, canals, cultural houses and welfare works; coordinating visits and giving many gifts to poor households and students in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 400 million VND...

Social security work was carried out promptly and practically: receiving, supporting, and helping to overcome storm No. 3 Yagi and storms No. 10 and 11 with nearly 400 working days, supporting 15,950 kg of rice, 3,285 gifts, over 1,170 million VND in cash; supporting the construction of 2 new houses with a total amount of 160 million VND; supporting 13 cows and many necessities for affected households...

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Nam Quang Commune Fatherland Front Committee set out 4 goals, 8 targets, 3 breakthrough tasks; a program of coordination and unified action of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for the 2025 - 2030 term and was unanimously approved by 100% of delegates at the Congress.

The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented financial support to 50 households affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

In his speech directing the Congress, Comrade Vu Khac Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and commended the results that the Fatherland Front of Nam Quang commune had achieved in the past term. At the same time, he highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity and proactive creativity in preparing and organizing the Congress. He requested that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front of the commune continue to promote its core role in mobilizing, gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, promptly deploying the Resolution of the Congress, concretizing targets and tasks in accordance with local characteristics, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress and the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

At the Congress, the consultation elected 50 members of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, term I, 2025 - 2030; unanimously appointed the Executive Committee of the Women's Union, consisting of 24 comrades; the Farmers' Association, 26 comrades; the Veterans' Association, 15 comrades; and the Youth Union, 19 comrades. The consultation elected 3 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 14th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025 - 2030; announced the list of delegates to attend the Provincial Fatherland Front Congress of socio-political organizations.

On this occasion, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded support funds to 50 households affected by storms No. 10 and 11 in the commune, each worth 1 million VND.
