Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized that this is the key event of the Vietnam Card Day 2025 campaign, with the message and meaning of "One touch - Ten thousand beliefs" spreading to young people.

“In the vibrant atmosphere of Song Festival today, I feel the heartbeat of a Vietnam striving every day to achieve the goal of being strong and prosperous in the new era. This is not only a vibrant festival for young people but also a forum for leaders, managers and people to see the important achievements of the banking and financial sectors in the process of national digital transformation,” the Deputy Prime Minister expressed.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that this is the 5th time since 2020 that Tien Phong Newspaper has organized this event. Up to now, Vietnam Card Day has spread its creativity as a mark of community communication. The numbers speak for themselves with hundreds of thousands of cashless technology experiences at Song Festival, tens of millions of accesses on social media platforms showing the practical benefits of cashless payment.

“This is the consumer trend of the times, the trust of society in card payments and digital payments,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, the success of Vietnam Card Day has contributed to the implementation of the Government 's national financial inclusion strategy until 2025 and vision to 2030. Specifically, striving to achieve the target of at least 80% of adults having non-cash transaction accounts, growing by 20-25%/year.

The theme “One touch - Ten thousand trusts” not only emphasizes technology but also conveys the message of trust, safety, efficiency, and savings to the public with legal regulations and a solid security foundation to protect people and businesses.

The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that cashless payment is an inevitable and irreversible trend, the main flow in payment that Vietnam has caught up with very quickly. The Government welcomes and encourages the Vietnam Card Day program organized by Tien Phong newspaper and Napas. This is a practical activity to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on science and technology development and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief that with the consensus of the people, businesses and the pioneering spirit of the young generation, we will soon realize the goal of a digital economy, a modern, safe, prosperous and sustainable green economy in the new era, the era of national growth.

On this occasion, the Government leader requested the banking and finance sectors and relevant units to focus on investing in technology and digital infrastructure and quickly increase and popularize non-cash payment points nationwide in all business and trading sectors.

At the same time, strengthen security and safety measures, ensure maximum benefits and rights of customers using cashless payment technology; expand and strengthen international connectivity and integration; promote training and development of digital human resources; strengthen propaganda, dissemination and training of knowledge and skills on modern payment.

The young generation is the pioneering wave, bringing advanced payment technology achievements into life.

According to the Organizing Committee, Song Festival is built as a digital payment - technology - entertainment festival for young people, where 100% of transactions at booths are done electronically, without using cash.

The event took place from 8:30 a.m. on October 18 to 9:30 p.m. on October 19 at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Stadium, with the participation of 25 commercial banks, financial institutions, international card organizations and nearly 100 booths in the fields of education, cuisine, consumption, fashion, technology...

During the two-day event, the Song Festival stage will be continuously operating with 5 technology and art performance frames, bringing a series of vivid interactive experiences from banks and performance groups from universities. Here, attendees can directly touch - experience - pay through Tap to Pay, Tap to Phone, QR code, e-wallet, mobile payment, electronic identification (eKYC) and the latest data security solutions.

In the context of increasingly sophisticated AI and data attacks, security, transaction safety and digital asset protection are especially focused on by banks and technology businesses when bringing solutions to the event.
