At the meeting, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Le Thi Ngoc Linh spoke to review the tradition of the Vietnam Women's Union through the ages.
On October 20, 1930, the Vietnam Women's Union was officially established. After 95 years of construction and development, the Vietnam Women's Union has continuously developed and become a large and widespread political and social organization, mobilizing and gathering a large number of women from all walks of life to actively participate and make worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Le Thi Ngoc Linh spoke to review the traditions of Vietnamese women.
In the current period, Vietnamese women in general and women in Ca Mau province in particular always uphold the spirit of solidarity, creativity, overcoming difficulties and making important contributions to the common achievements of the homeland and the country. Women in Ca Mau province continue to affirm their role in many fields and are the core force in patriotic emulation movements, the subject in building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet commended and acknowledged the efforts and contributions of generations of female cadres and members to the overall development of the province.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women to promote the spirit of solidarity after the province's merger, continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, and focus on the grassroots; promptly grasp the thoughts and solve urgent problems of women and children, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority and religious areas; pay more attention to and take better care of female cadres; focus on planning, training, fostering, arranging and using female cadres in the political system, promoting the intelligence, bravery and qualities of women in all areas of social life; promote the role and experience of female leaders and Union cadres through the periods; strengthen propaganda work, raise social awareness of gender equality, prevent and combat domestic violence, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women and children; At the same time, building the image of a new Ca Mau woman "Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", becoming an important driving force in the province's development.
