Workers' and civil servants' football teams join hands to head towards the Central region after the 2025 season

Closing the 2025 season in the joy of victory, the worker and civil servant football teams spread the noble gesture by donating half of their bonus – a total of 250 million VND – to support workers and laborers in the Central region who suffered damage due to storms and floods.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament ended with the joy of Sacombank winning the championship. The football teams joined hands to support workers, civil servants and people in the Central region who are suffering from floods.

The national final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 ended on the afternoon of November 2 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium ( Ho Chi Minh City).

In addition to the exciting competitions, the top 4 teams of the national finals also took an extremely meaningful action. That was the decision to donate 50% of the prize money received to support workers and laborers in the Central region who suffered losses due to storms and floods, with a total amount of up to 250 million VND.

Specifically, the Sacombank team contributed VND100 million from the VND200 million bonus for the championship. The Vietnam Bank Trade Union team contributed VND75 million from the VND150 million bonus for the runner-up team.

Sawaco team contributed 50 million VND from the 100 million VND prize for third place. Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 team contributed 25 million VND from the 50 million VND prize for fourth place.

With the limited income of many worker and civil servant players, the bonus for achievements at the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is a significant source of income in addition to the joy of playing football to satisfy their passion.

The organizers performed a ceremony before awarding the trophy.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is co-organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , Tuoi Tre newspaper, and Vietnam Football Federation for the third consecutive year.

Entering the 2025 season, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual, prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country; contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.
