Teachers' salaries will increase thanks to special coefficients.

QNgTV- With a special coefficient, teachers' salaries will be the highest in the salary scale system for administrative and career sectors as prescribed in the Law on Teachers.

According to the draft Decree on salary policy and allowance regime for teachers, announced by the Ministry of Education and Training : the specific coefficient for public preschool teachers' salaries is 1.25; for general teachers it is 1.15; for teachers teaching disabled students, integrated students, and boarding schools, the coefficient is 1.2-1.3.

Teacher salary calculation formula = Basic salary x Current salary coefficient x Specific salary coefficient.

In addition to the specific salary coefficient, the draft Decree has a number of allowances with specific calculation levels. In particular, the job responsibility allowance is mentioned for the first time, ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 for teachers who work as consultants, hold the position of head or deputy head of professional groups, or perform core tasks for 5 days/month or more.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that this proposal is to suit the practical activities of teachers, ensuring the rights of teachers, because currently positions such as group leader and deputy group leader are not leaders, so they do not receive allowances.
