Provincial leaders visit construction sites of Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway projects and roads to Hon Khoai island

On the morning of November 3, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai; Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Thanh Ngai visited the construction site of the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway project and the road to Hon Khoai island, in Dat Mui commune.

Provincial leaders gave gifts to officers, engineers, workers and laborers directly working at the construction site.

Currently, Ca Mau province is actively implementing the site clearance work to implement projects according to plan, ensuring the overall progress of the projects. Accordingly, the expressway from Ca Mau to Dat Mui has completed the work of measuring, counting, making compensation, support and resettlement plans within the area of ​​land clearance piles handed over, and has handed over 35.23 hectares of land, reaching 4.94%.

For the road project to Hon Khoai Island, the locality has received the handover of land clearance piles; the work of measuring, counting, and making a compensation and support plan has been completed. In the coming time, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center will submit the plan for approval and issue a notice of land recovery according to regulations.

Particularly, the Hon Khoai dual-use port project in Ca Mau province has completed site clearance and handed over land to the investor on October 29, 2025, with a scale of more than 12 hectares (100%).

Provincial leaders listened to reports on the situation and progress of project implementation.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai sent his regards and encouragement to the construction units and the team of cadres, engineers, workers and laborers directly working at the construction site; at the same time, he affirmed that Ca Mau province will fulfill its responsibility in site clearance, actively coordinate with investors and construction units to remove difficulties, and ensure the handover of the site to the construction units on schedule.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai directed that, in the immediate future, it is necessary to urgently hand over the land areas to construct temporary works and public roads to serve the implementation of the projects. The Provincial Party Committee also assigned the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to be the focal point, directly monitor and coordinate with investors and construction units to promptly direct the handling of difficulties, problems and issues arising during the implementation of the projects.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders presented gifts, sent wishes of good health, encouraged and hoped that the construction units and the team of officers, engineers, workers and laborers would always maintain their enthusiastic working spirit and strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
