
Taking place from October 20 to November 2, the Festival brings together nearly 1,000 artists, actors, and musicians from 12 professional Cheo art units nationwide, performing 21 plays with diverse themes and rich expressions.
Quang Ninh Theater participates with the play "Sacred Marks at Cua Suot" by People's Artist Hoang Quynh Mai directed, Meritorious Artist Pham Ngoc Duong is the script writer; with the participation of nearly 100 artists, actors, and musicians of the Quang Ninh Art Troupe.
The play exploits the legendary story of the Little Fairy Cua Suot, a fairy who, out of compassion for the suffering people in the lower world, decided to give up her comfortable life in the fairyland to come down to earth, reincarnated as the daughter of Lord Tran Quoc Tang, and together with her father, fought against the sea monsters and the Yuan-Mongol invaders to save the people and the country.
Using the traditional Cheo art language, along with the elaborate staging of the scene, sound, and light, the work exploited mythological elements, folk legends, customs, and practices, especially the story of the little girl Cua Suot who used her tears to transform the Fairy Well to save the villagers from thirst, thereby expressing the gratitude of the people and affirming the vitality of historical and cultural values.

The Organizing Committee awarded 2 excellent prizes, 33 gold medals, 65 silver medals to performing artists; awarded 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals to plays; and also awarded prizes to excellent scriptwriters, music directors, stage designers, etc.
Quang Ninh Art Theater won the excellent award for a play about the sea and islands, 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals for individuals and the award for Best Orchestra Conductor.
