20-10 Kindergarten received the Emulation Flag of the City People's Committee

DNO - On the morning of October 18, 20-10 Kindergarten held a ceremony to celebrate the school's 50th anniversary and received the Emulation Flag from the City People's Committee.

In her commemorative speech, Principal Tran Thi Ha Thanh said that, amidst the numerous difficulties of the early construction period, the 20-10 Kindergarten at that time only had a few simple classrooms, a few small tables and chairs, and the first enthusiastic teachers.

In the early days of its establishment, the school had only more than 30 children, most of whom were children of officials of the City Women's Union and some leading agencies.

The teachers at that time were specially sent union officials and did not hesitate to endure hardships to both care for and teach the children.

From those first faltering steps, with love for the profession, devotion and the spirit of "All for dear children", they have sown the first seeds for the noble career of educating people.

Over half a century, generations of teachers have succeeded each other in cultivating and initiating the tradition of teaching and learning.

From 1975 to 1990, during the subsidy and renovation period, the period of mechanism transformation in all fields, the small 20-10 Kindergarten was gradually invested in and repaired to become more spacious.

20-10 Kindergarten is proud to be one of the units honored to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President in 2003, the Second Class Labor Medal in 2009, and the First Class Labor Medal three times. In 2017, the school received the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2017; more than 9 times received the Emulation Flag, Certificate of Merit from the People's Committee of Da Nang City and dozens of Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training , the Vietnam Confederation of Labor, the Department of Education and Training and other mass organizations.

In the 2016-2017 school year, the school achieved national level 2 standards and was accredited for the quality of preschool education in the city.
