On December 4 and 5, in Quang Nam province, Children of Vietnam (COV/USA) in collaboration with the Quang Nam Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations awarded 150 scholarships to disadvantaged students in the area.
Specifically, 100 scholarships were awarded to students in Que Son district and the remaining 50 scholarships were awarded to students in Zuoih commune, Nam Giang district.
COV representative said that the scholarship aims to support students to overcome difficulties in studying, to go to school with peace of mind, and at the same time encourage students with good and excellent achievements to continue to strive and practice.

The scholarship program is within the framework of the non-project "Supporting scholarships and school supplies for disadvantaged students in Quang Nam province" sponsored by COV under Decision No. 218/QD-SKHDT approved by the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Nam province on October 3, 2024.
According to the plan, in the coming time, COV will support school supplies for 48 disadvantaged students at Alua village school, belonging to Dang commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Tay Giang district.
It is known that the total value of this non-project aid is 191 million VND, implemented from October 2024 to April 2025.
COV is an American non-governmental organization, established in 1998, specializing in the fields of health care,education and community development. With many projects implemented across provinces and cities, COV has received high appreciation from agencies and localities in Vietnam.
