Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, May 2, parents and students can access the 10th grade admission system at ts10.hcm.edu.vn to register their wishes. This year's 10th grade admission registration is 100% online.
The registration period for grade 10 will end at 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2025.
Secondary schools are responsible for providing login accounts and training candidates on how to register.
After students access the 10th grade admission portal at ts10.hcm.edu.vn, they use the account provided by the 9th grade homeroom teacher to register their 10th grade wishes. Secondary schools will support candidates in registering if any problems occur.
According to admission regulations, students taking the 10th grade exam in the 2025-2026 school year can register for a maximum of 8 10th grade wishes. Those 8 wishes include: 3 regular 10th grade wishes, 2 specialized wishes, and 3 wishes for integrated 10th grade English.
The wishes are arranged in order of priority from top to bottom. Candidates who are admitted to a wish must study that wish and cannot change the order or content.
After students complete their registration, it is expected that on May 14, the Ho Chi Minh City Departmentof Education and Training will announce the number of students who registered their initial wishes.
If needed, students can change their wishes until 5:00 p.m. on May 19, 2025.
According to the announcement of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the 10th grade exam schedule for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on two days: June 6 and 7, 2025. Candidates for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year will take 3 exams including: literature, math and foreign language (foreign language 1 being studied at school).
According to the Examination and Quality Assessment Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the admission score for grade 10 is usually the total score of the literature, math, foreign language exams and priority and incentive points (if any).
Admission requirements for the usual wishes are: candidates participate in the entrance exam, take all required exams, do not violate admission regulations and all exams have a score greater than 0.
The admission score for specialized grade 10 is: the total score of the literature, math, foreign language exams and the specialized subject score (coefficient 2).
Integrated English grade 10 admission score: is the total score of the literature, math, foreign language and integrated English exam scores.
Based on the quota, number of registered candidates and total scores of 3 exams, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training reviews and announces the benchmark scores of each school.
Candidates who take a foreign language other than English must register.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training notes: Candidates must register for a foreign language subject according to the regulations in section "1.2. Exam subjects". If candidates do not choose this content, it is considered that the candidate has chosen English as the exam subject.
