16 worker and civil servant football teams compete for a prize of 170 million VND

The Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is held annually for the third time. The tournament provides a healthy and useful sports playground, creating opportunities for exchange, physical training, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country. After the qualifying round in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the 16 best teams won the right to participate in the national final round taking place at the end of October in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Northern region qualifying round has 16 participating teams, including: Bac Ninh 1 Trade Union, Vietnam Education Trade Union, Ninh Binh Trade Union, Hai Phong City Trade Union, Dien Bien Trade Union, Hung Yen Trade Union, Hanoi City Trade Union, Bac Ninh 2 Trade Union, Phu Tho Trade Union, Vietnam Health Trade Union, People's Public Security Trade Union, Vietnam Bank Trade Union, Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union, State Bank, VPBank, Agribank .

The 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups, playing a round robin to determine the 4 group winners and 4 group runners-up to advance to the quarter-finals. The quarter-finals will be organized in a knockout format. The four teams that qualify for the semi-finals will simultaneously receive tickets to the national finals. Meanwhile, the 4 teams that stop in the quarter-finals will continue to compete in the play-off to select the remaining 2 tickets to the finals.

The total prize of the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament in the Northern region qualifiers is up to 170 million VND. Of which, the champion team of the regional qualifiers receives 60 million VND, the second-place team receives 40 million VND, and the third-place team each receives 20 million VND.

In addition, the regional qualifying round also has many other awards such as Best Player, Player with the most goals, Best Goalkeeper, Most Fairplay Team, Most Impressive Cheerleading Team, Best Referee Team. Each award is worth 5 million VND.
