According to this plan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province strives to complete the implementation of 17 social housing projects (NOXH) with a scale of 54.3 hectares and 12,798 units by 2025. Of which, 12 projects will allocate 9,451 units for low-income people; 3 projects will allocate 3,034 units for industrial park workers; 2 projects will allocate 313 units in the 20% land fund.
Regarding the allocation of social housing development, Phu My town will be the place with the most social housing projects with 5 projects. Of which, there are 2 projects for low-income people and 3 projects for industrial park workers, with 4,296 apartments.
Projects in this area include: Gate Towers Project - accommodation for workers, 2,184 units; CC2 Social Apartment Project - Phu My resettlement area phase 1 with 914 units; Hodeco Company's worker housing project, 850 units; 0.7ha social housing, about 264 units and Tungho Steel Workers Social Housing Apartment, 84 units.
In the next 2 years, low-income people in Ba Ria - Vung Tau will have more options for suitable housing.
Vung Tau City also developed 3 social housing projects with a scale of 11 hectares, including 4,254 units. Of which, social housing in Ward 10 has about 1,965 units; social housing in Ward 12 has 1,896 units and Ward 10 has 528 houses serving officers and soldiers of the provincial police.
Chau Duc district has 3 projects, including 1 social housing project for low-income people and 2 projects in the 20% social housing land fund with 695 apartments; Long Dien district has 2 social housing projects for low-income people, arranging 278 apartments; Ba Ria city has 2 social housing projects in Go Cat 6 A and B, with a scale of 1.3 hectares, arranging 1,942 apartments; Xuyen Moc district has 2 social housing projects for low-income people, arranging 1,006 apartments in Phuoc Thuan commune and Binh Chau commune.
In addition, in Con Dao District, there is also a project to arrange 132 apartments, invested with a budget of about 225.3 billion VND, with the People's Committee of Con Dao District as the investor. The project is under construction and is expected to be completed and put into use in April 2024.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau province also plans to allocate about 10,439 billion VND of capital to complete the development of social housing in the 2023-2025 period. Of which, the capital mobilized outside the budget is about 10,214 billion VND, the budget capital is 225 billion VND.
