Resolve the backlog of driver's license testing records before July 30

On July 18, the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security said it had just directed the Traffic Police Departments of provinces and cities to concentrate and mobilize maximum officers and examiners to focus on the work of issuing and exchanging driving licenses for people, ensuring to completely resolve the backlog in driving tests and must complete it before July 30, 2025.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department requests that trainees who have completed the course and meet the examination requirements contact the training center or the local traffic police department where they reside or work to find out the exam schedule and arrange their time to take the exam.

The Traffic Police Department confirmed that after passing the driving test, successful candidates will receive a notification message on their national identification application (VNeID) requesting them to update their driver's license information.

At that time, citizens updated their information as required, provided that their citizen ID number matched the ID number used when registering for the exam and they had installed the VNeID app at level 2.
