Resolve the backlog of driver's license testing records before July 30

On July 18, the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security said it had just directed the Traffic Police Departments of provinces and cities to concentrate and mobilize maximum officers and examiners to focus on the work of issuing and exchanging driving licenses for people, ensuring to completely resolve the backlog in driving tests and must complete it before July 30, 2025.

Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department recommends that students who have studied and are qualified to take the test contact the center where they studied or the Traffic Police Department of the local police where they reside or work to know the test schedule and arrange a time to take the test.

The Traffic Police Department confirmed that after passing the test to issue a driving license, the national identification application (VNeID) of the passing student will receive a notification message and request to update information about the driving license.

At that time, people update information as required, provided that the citizen identification number matches the identification number when registering for the exam and installing the VNeID level 2 app.
