The North-South Eastern Expressway Project, phase 2021-2025, passes through Trung Loc commune, 3.31km long, affecting more than 400 households (340 households affected by agricultural land, 62 households affected by residential land and assets on land) and 180 graves have to be exhumed.
Recently, with the participation of the entire political system and the consensus of all classes of people, the Compensation and Resettlement Support Council of the North-South Expressway project in Can Loc district has completed the payment for agricultural land and funds to support the exhumation of graves for the people.

On the afternoon of June 22, after completing the procedures for counting, pricing compensation and agreeing on the compensation plan for the North-South expressway, 23/62 households affected by land and property on land in Trung Loc commune received compensation of more than 13 billion VND.
Of the 23 households in Trung Loc commune receiving compensation this time, 17 households are eligible for resettlement.

The resettlement area for households affected by the North-South Expressway project in Trung Loc commune was built in Minh Huong village with an area of 2 hectares, arranged in 31 plots of land. The project started construction on May 24, and has so far completed 60% of the volume, ensuring that households can build houses.

In addition to Trung Loc commune, people in two communes: Quang Loc and Kim Song Truong, have also received land handover at the resettlement area from the Compensation and Resettlement Support Council of the North-South Expressway project in Can Loc district to build houses.
The North-South Expressway passes through Dong Loc town and 8 communes of Kim Song Truong, Gia Hanh, Thuong Loc, Khanh Vinh Yen, Trung Loc, Xuan Loc, Quang Loc, Son Loc, of Can Loc district with a total length of 19.4 km. Through the inventory, the area affected by the project is 198.47 hectares of land of all kinds with 2,135 households. Of which, 1,862 households have agricultural land; 272 households are affected in terms of residential land and assets on land (147 households have to relocate) and 778 graves have to be relocated. The District Compensation and Site Clearance Council has completed payment for agricultural land, graves and handed over the site to the investor, reaching over 90%. Regarding compensation, land acquisition, property on land and other items, the District People's Committee is carrying out the work of inventory, pricing, publicizing compensation plans, paying for property on land and building infrastructure for resettlement areas, power lines, pumping stations, and cemeteries. Currently, Can Loc district has paid 374.30/627.67 billion VND of project site clearance costs, with a disbursement rate of 60%. |
