Professor Nguyen Tien Thao, Director of the Department of Higher Education - Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), said that on July 21, the ministry is expected to announce the threshold to ensure input quality for the pedagogical and health sectors.
The Ministry of Education and Training will announce the percentiles of the five traditional combinations: A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), B00 (math, chemistry, biology), C00 (literature, history, geography), D01 (math, literature, English) on July 21. This is the basis for candidates in the process of choosing their admission wishes, and at the same time helps schools refer to when building a conversion table of standard scores between methods and combinations.
According to Professor Nguyen Tien Thao, the new point in university admissions this year is that the admission score will be converted between groups and methods to create fairness for candidates. Accordingly, a major can be considered for admission using many groups, the difference in scores between groups will be adjusted according to the percentile.
From now until 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates can register their university admission wishes on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training. The Director of the Department of Higher Education noted that although there is no limit on the number of admission wishes, candidates need to remember to put their most desired wishes in the priority position. Because if a candidate is qualified to pass any of the requirements, the admission system will stop at that wish and will not consider further. Candidates also need to carefully check their information and exam scores, especially their academic transcripts and foreign language certificates during the application process.
After registering for NV admission, candidates pay the admission fee online from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5. Universities will announce the benchmark scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
