180 billion VND to build road to Sub-zone 179

The current road to subdivision 179 is often muddy during the rainy season.

The project aims to build a road connecting the center of Dam Rong 2 commune to the planned area for free migrants in Sub-area 179, helping to facilitate travel and transport of goods, stabilizing the lives of more than 100 households with more than 700 people in the area and along the road, creating conditions for the development of 200 hectares of agricultural land under cultivation, enhancing the management efficiency of local authorities, promoting socio -economic development, ensuring synchronous traffic connection with invested infrastructure works.

The project is managed by the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects and Public Works of Dam Rong District. The total length of the route is 17.8 km, designed according to the standards of rural roads in mountainous areas of grade B according to TCVN 10380-2014 with a 5m roadbed, 3.5m road surface, and 0.75m on both sides. Some sections of the route have difficult terrain, and the technical design is according to the standards of rural roads in mountainous areas of grade C. The total investment is about 180 billion VND from the budget under the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and the period 2026 - 2030. The implementation period is in the period 2025 - 2028.

Central area of Sub-region 179

Sub-area 179 belongs to Village 5, Lieng Srong Commune, Dam Rong District, bordering Dak Nong Province, surrounded by mountains and forests and the Serepok River. There are more than 100 households living here with nearly 700 people. All are Mong ethnic people from the Northern provinces who migrated to reclaim land and live.

The sub-area has built a medical station, a cultural house and is planning to build a school.

The entire Sub-area is nestled in the middle of the forest, more than 80km from the center of Lieng Srong commune. Currently, to get to Sub-area 179, most of the travel distance must pass through Dak Nong province. In recent years, the people of Sub-area 179 have always longed for a new road so that not only the geographical distance and travel time can be shortened, but people can also have closer access to the developed area in the center.
