Two people died after being struck by lightning.

According to confirmation from representatives of the People's Committee of Quang Lang and Quang Vinh communes (An Thi district), on the evening of June 13th, two people in the two communes died from lightning strikes.

Specifically, one person died after being struck by lightning while riding a motorbike on the road connecting the Hanoi -Hai Phong Expressway and the Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway in Binh Ho village, Quang Lang commune. According to the Quang Lang commune authorities, the person struck by lightning was not a local resident. The second case involved a resident of Quang Vinh commune who was unfortunately struck by lightning within their own commune.

At that time, An Thi district experienced a thunderstorm with lightning. Experts warned that when a thunderstorm with lightning occurs, people need to find a safe place to take shelter to avoid tragic incidents.
